My website doesn't look good on a phone: what to do

Most visits today come from phones. If the text there is tiny, the buttons overlap or something sticks out of the screen, people don't read, they close. Almost always this can be fixed without a new website.

Why it matters

Google rates websites by their mobile version first. A site that looks good only on a computer loses both visitors and rankings.

The five most common problems

  • The text is so small it has to be zoomed in with your fingers.
  • The buttons and links are small and squeezed next to each other.
  • A table, photo or banner sticks out of the screen and the page slides sideways.
  • The phone number can't be dialled with one tap.
  • A pop-up covers the content and is hard to close.

How to check for yourself

Open the site on your phone and do what a customer does: find a service, a price and a phone number. If something annoys you, it annoys them too.

How we fix it

We check your site on real phones, fix the sizes, the buttons and everything that sticks out of the screen, and add one-tap calling.
